Mile High City

Here we are in the Mile High City of Denver (it seems to say that everywhere)! Nathan's working at Johnson and Wales University doing a Facilities Management internship for the summer, and I'm working at Gap.... again. We are re-living our freshman years all over again together by living in the dorms- but this time you can have boys in your apartment all the time! :) Things we've noticed about Denver so far:
1. Everyone has dogs
2. The Rockies look disappointingly small from here
3. People seem to love to drive under the speed limit
4. The weather can be crazy- tornado warnings!
5. Everything is very green
6. For some reason a lot of appliances in our apartment are miniature, and so are the sidewalks...

Home Sweet Home- Triangolo Hall

We have to be very careful taking things out of the oven- it's so small I'm afraid of burning my hands every time!

Needless to say showering takes a little more effort than it used to....

The campus is beautiful with some amazing buildings

We went to the city park for a little picnic yesterday

Then we went to the museum of nature and science (this taken on top of that)

That kitchen is crazy!! But you'll back years from now and look at the early years of marriage living in crap places as the good times. I have such happy memories of living in our apartment in provo even though we had no money and lived off of pasta roni. Nathan's going to have back problems from having to bend down so much in that shower!! Ha ha!
