It's about time...
I know, I know you're all thinking this in your head as you see that we've finally posted on here again. It's about time really sums it ALL up I think. We have been super busy since school has started and there just does not seem to enough time these days! And there certainly has not been enough time to blog- I know many of you (siblings, in particular) have been waiting to hear all about what's going on in our not-so-exciting lives (or if you haven't been, then stop reminding us to update this! ;) ). There's not enough time to get all of our homework done, to sleep, or to spend more time with our family and friends like we want to, but we're workin' on it! So here you go...... Enjoy! It really is about time...
Lake Powell
We were able to go to Lake Powell for a couple of days about a month ago. We had such a great time and were very grateful to my Dad for taking the time to take us!

It was Nathan's first time there
I LOVE this pic- so classic.... Ashlee's hair going crazy in the wind and Skylar just being super cool as always!

We're Alive!
So I apologize about the lack of posts- there is definitely a lot to update about (weddings, rocky mountain national park, etc). Nathan finished his internship and we are now back in Provo, after driving through a scary SNOW storm trying to get over the Rockies! It's great to be back in Utah with some family close by! We don't have the internet at our new place so it might be a few more days til we get some pictures up....... stay tuned!

"The Farm"
Last week was the Suzuki Family Reunion in Pocatello and Driggs, Idaho. We had so much fun floating down the river, shooting the potato gun, watching fireworks, playing volleyball and other games, and just relaxing and spending time with family. It was so great to finally meet Nathan's extended family, and to see the infamous farmhouse! Can't wait to go back! Enjoy the beautiful pictures!

Denver Adventures
One Saturday we spent the whole day out in the sun- first swimming, then some tennis, and ended the day with some kite flying! We couldn't remember the last time we did this so it brought us back a few years!

Nathan got some free tickets from work to the Jewel and John Legend concert- it was actually really entertaining, we were kinda surprised!

We went to the amusement park Elitch Gardens- good idea, but turned out to be a mistake after we lost our car keys on a water slide and had to have a locksmith help us out!

Mile High City
Here we are in the Mile High City of Denver (it seems to say that everywhere)! Nathan's working at Johnson and Wales University doing a Facilities Management internship for the summer, and I'm working at Gap.... again. We are re-living our freshman years all over again together by living in the dorms- but this time you can have boys in your apartment all the time! :) Things we've noticed about Denver so far:
1. Everyone has dogs
2. The Rockies look disappointingly small from here
3. People seem to love to drive under the speed limit
4. The weather can be crazy- tornado warnings!
5. Everything is very green
6. For some reason a lot of appliances in our apartment are miniature, and so are the sidewalks...

We have to be very careful taking things out of the oven- it's so small I'm afraid of burning my hands every time!

Needless to say showering takes a little more effort than it used to....

Viva Mexico!
We went to Rocky Point, Mexico for our honeymoon and had such a great time. The weather was bueno and Nathan got to practice his Spanish a lot! We stayed at a Hotel called Penasco del Sol right on the beach which was amazing. By the end we were definitely sick of people trying to sell us stuff every 2 minutes, and having to drink lemonade everywhere we went. But don't get us wrong we certainly did not want to leave! We were so surprised how much nicer the U.S. was when we got back!

So one day we went to the aquarium. Needless to say it wasn't quite as flashy as Sea World. Just a small concrete building with few open tanks filled with fish that you just went right up to. Here are some huge sea turtles that I was deathly afraid of.

Nathan loved it though! Here he is feeding the sea lion that scared us both when he jumped up out of nowhere right in front of us! Yes I am kinda freaking out on the video but it was pretty awesome!

Cool Restaurant we ate at one night- Nathan loved his authentic Mexican food while I stuck to my chicken strips (I'm sure my family is rolling their eyes right now).

Love and Marriage.....
Yes we know it's about time but we are FINALLY MARRIED! It was the absolute perfect day and we are so grateful to so many family and friends who traveled very long distances to share it with us. The day really flew by so fast and we can't believe it's all over! All the planning and hoopla for just a few short hours! Hopefully we will get some real wedding photos up soon, but here's a few that you have already seen floating around on others blogs....
So happy!
