6 months

As soon as Luke turned 6 months he started doing all kinds of new stuff all within one week! He got TWO teeth at the same time, learned how to roll over from his back to his stomach (so now he rolls all over the place- including in his bed when he doesn't want to go to sleep), he learned how to sit up by holding himself up with his arms, and he started actually eating a little baby food instead of spitting it all out!

My current favorite picture...

And he's still stylin'

And still incredibly CUTE!

St. George

For those of you who haven't seen all of these pictures on everyone else's blogs here is a short recap of our awesome trip to St. George!

I was able to be there for the sealing of the cutest boy to this perfect family!
Some of the siblings- we missed Jason, Trevor, and Lindsay!

This is how Luke felt by the end of all this traveling...
As fun as it was to travel the country for a month pretty much by myself with an infant, we are certainly glad to be back home for awhile and not have to live out of a suitcase or go through airport security for the 9th time!

California

Next up on the travel log was California. Luke and I flew there for a few days to visit with Melissa and the fam before I drove with her to St. George.

This is probably my favorite pic of the whole trip... Hayden was a little unsure of holding Luke at first (and apparently Luke was too)! It cracks me up!
Uncle MattNathan loved Luke!

Hayden was sure to show me his sweet moves...

I guess I didn't get a picture of Melissa!!

D.C.

Back in April Nathan had a work conference in D.C. so we went early to visit Emily and Tyler and see the sights!
Here is a (large) sampling of what we did there, they are just in order of our trip....

National Cathedral

Arlington National Cemetery

Mount Vernon

Emily was sweet enough to wait in line for us for an hour to get into the house while we walked around the grounds, and then watch Luke while we took the tour inside! Thanks again Em!

Jefferson Memorial

Air and Space Museum

Future President... already sleeping on the job

Library of Congress

And the illegal picture Nathan took of the actual library
We had mastered the Metro by the end of this trip!

Other fun things not pictured: walking around Georgetown, lots of delicious food, hanging out at Emily and Tyler's, National Museum of American History, Holocaust Museum, and so many more fun times! Thanks for letting us visit guys!
p.s. this isn't even a quarter of the pictures we have from this trip!

Birthday Boy

Luckily Nathan's birthday was when I was actually in town so we were able to celebrate by going to dinner.

And here's one of him in honor of our Anniversary that was 2 weeks after his birthday...

Sure do love him!

Arizona

This trip feels like it was forever ago. Luke had his first AZ trip and it was just as fabulous as expected (I've been asking Nathan when we can move there ever since). It consisted of A LOT of eating out, shopping, and getting to wear short sleeves for once!

We were very spoiled by my parents... how cute is this pic??
SUNS Game!

Skylar was so cute with Baby 'Wuke' as she calls him and had to be with me every time I was doing anything with him!

This is a very random picture, I know, but it just has to be documented. A well meaning aunt (who shall remain nameless ;) ) tried to cut Luke's nails and she quickly learned what a difficult task that can be. He ended up with quite the little cut on his finger that wouldn't stop bleeding for awhile so we made a call to Dr. Mark who said to put superglue on it. So Papa got right to work on the surgery, taping off his other fingers, and it was a success! Luke was hardly phased by it and was such a trooper through the whole thing. Oh, and his finger has never been better since!

Too much fun lately...

Luke and I have been bouncin' all over the country it feels like the last few weeks (and we still have a trip to California and Utah next week!) visiting various family. We have had such a blast but it has definitely taken a toll on Luke I think- so much for the awesome schedule he used to be on. What a trooper though, he has been dragged around to so many stores and restaurants (a.k.a. my trip to AZ) and so many monuments and museums (a.k.a. our trip to Washington D.C).
I don't have all the pics from D.C. yet so here are just a few Tyler took of Luke real quick on Sunday. Just can't get enough of this boy...

Give these little guys a couple years and we're in for it. Dean and Luke are definitely going to be inseparable once Luke can keep up!

p.s. I'll do an official AZ and D.C. post soon!
