Changes

2012 is going to be a big year for us...

That's right, for those of you who haven't heard, Luke is going to be a BIG BROTHER to...

A BABY SISTER!!!

We are still kind of in shock around here that it is a girl, and a little nervous, but oh so excited!

So here is what our timeline looks like:
Around the 1st of August- Baby girl will make her arrival (I'm 21 weeks now)
Around the 11th of August- We're moving back to Utah!
Nathan is going to go to BYU's MBA program so we are headed back to Happy Valley in the fall. It is very bittersweet but we're excited for the new adventures ahead, and very excited to be closer to family!
Needless to say I think we'll look back at August as one of the craziest times of our lives!

I AM A CHILD OF GOD

Turn up the volume and enjoy! I especially love the little bow at the end.

Sledding

A couple of weeks ago we got about two feet of snow, so as soon as the storm let up we took advantage of the great hill right behind our house (half hour after we left this hill was so crowded and stayed that way for days)
At first Luke was not a fan- the snow was so deep it went to his hips and he could hardly move

I was not a fan of Luke going down on his shoulders, but they survived

Dear Mother Nature,
We do not want any more snow this winter. Thanks!

Halloween 2011

This was the last picture we took on our nice camera- dated March 26! Planting flowers for spring! So for Halloween we decided to give the iPhone a little rest and put to use the good one, and now we're wondering why it took so long!
Look what 7 months does!!! (comparing these two pics seriously hurts my heart- he is such a little boy now)
Our little cowboy could not have been more excited about trick or treating with some of his little friends
We also learned that the big camera brings out a whole new side of Luke, one who will actually look at the camera and give a great, cheesy smile! It was such a nice surprise!

The kids wore out pretty fast and were soon ready to come home and go through the goods

Who needs candy? I could eat that face up all day, everyday! (And I do!)

Fall happenings

A little hike in the mountains

Dinner at a diner, where Luke was pullin' out his cheese face left and right, I can't get enough

Then some bowling to end the night. I told Nathan on the way there that this will be all Luke talks about now. I was right. There was a ball involved= he loved it.

Here is a sampling of Luke's sweet dance moves, it was hilarious. The video is a bit long but you won't regret it!

p.s. I have more than doubled my posts for the year in one day alone! It doesn't even all fit on one page! Hooray! And family- you are welcome! :)

Pumpkin patch

Luke and I went to a cute farm with my friend, which had some animals, bouncy houses, hay maze, and a giant pumpkin patch.

Throwing hay, no surprise- he seriously throws anything and everything

Then he saw the bouncy house and made a B-line over to it...

Homecoming

After AZ we headed to Utah to meet up with Nathan and some of my family for BYU's Homecoming, like we do every year.

We stayed at John and Jenilyn's gorgeous new home, thanks guys!

At the parade- it was, of course, so cold that weekend

We sat with these two cute boys at the game

Sunday afternoon we headed up to the mountains for a little bit with my parents

Monday we were able to spend some time with Jenilyn and the kids, obviously everyone was a little worn out

AZ

Luke and I went to AZ to stay with Jordan while my parents went to Utah

He was mesmerized by the headphones

We went to my friend Aleasha's house, where her parents have put in their own splash pad! It was awesome! And Luke asked about playing with Caleb everyday we were there- we wish we lived closer!

Watching conference (this lasted for 30 seconds)
We kept ourselves plenty busy by catching up with friends and LOTS of trips to Last Chance!

Best buds

These boys just love hanging out on the couch together

Just being cute
